As we understand it, the transversal competences are those competences that are common for every person, you’ll need them a lot at work and in order to take care of a child. Transversal competences for example would be communication (it’s a transversal competence) that you not only are fluent in the linguistic part but also in the ‘knowing how to be’ part, so if go somewhere, not saying ‘hmmm’ but saying instead ‘Hello how are you?.’ Knowing how to enter into a conversation with another person, knowing how to say no if I don’t want to do something- these more communicative abilities. Time management would also be a transversal competence. It would be my own emotional management as well as understanding the emotions of others.
