I believe that revolutionary art exists. I believe that it exists in the dreams of the social movement, the organization of the people, those ideas that expand and become visible to the outside world. The art that, furthermore, inspires others to join the fight. Revolutionary art, in some way, makes you get off the couch and mobilize. It does not tell you, “this is the reality we live in and we cannot do anything to change it, so let’s stay at home and cry about all our problems.” Revolutionary art tells you, “this is the reality we live in, but you can change it and we need you to help change it.”
