Communities of practices

“Writer Etienne Wenger talks about communities of practice as spaces of learning developed through social participation. Reclaiming that sense and contextualizing it within the process of leaving the dominant paradigm, communities of practices that are self-managed in terms of common values participate in this change, weaving careful networks in defense of a just and worthy life. They’re spaces to attempt a societal project distinct from capitalism, where they serve as a cushion of security, a social-emotional network, and a network of information and education. Above all, this is about testimonies gathered here about each of the communities of practice that make up this constellation. Obviously, these communities of practice are not all of the communities that exist in the Spanish state, nor is the selected group representative of all citizen concerns.”
