The book “Oikonomía y Acción Ciudadana. Transitando sistemas con la Constelación de los Comunes” (2023) has been used for the development of continuous assessment tasks in the Public Economics course for the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. The objective is for students to become acquainted with practical references of communal organizations that create a public economy alternative to that of the State. In particular, the introduction has served as working material in understanding the capitalist system and its pathologies, driven by current States, being suitable material to determine the extent to which state policies, which we call public, prioritize the private interests of certain elites over those of the community, putting the entire environmental and social system at risk.
