CTXT is a digital Journal founded in January 2015 by 14 experienced journalists from major European newspapers such as El País, El Mundo, and La Repubblica, who seek to practice their profession in complete freedom, without servitude to political, editorial, or business interests. Our primary goal is to provide political and economic context to the most relevant news, anticipate major issues that will shape the news agenda, invigorate culture and creativity, promote the debate of ideas, and report and analyze events with sobriety, honesty, irony (when possible), and critical thinking.”
