Lindsay is a linguist, a writer, a student-teacher, and a budding anticapitalist. She works as a medical interpreter in a hospital, writes client biographies for a traumatic brain injury law firm, and teaches English and Spanish as second languages. She plans to spend the next few years shifting some tectonic plates under adult second language education (or at least developing promising alternatives to the status quo). She is thrilled to give time and skills to the CC, a project that in a short time has already taught her a lot about what a better world can and ought to look like.
